We utilize an array of equipment that assists us in performing construction projects.

 Additionally, we have a shop facility that allows for sizable in-house casting and bricking of vessels and forms custom-cast shapes with complete dry-out capabilities.

Safety 

Our construction crews are Safety Trained through Allen Refractories Construction Company, LLC Safety Program that exceeds all OSHA/MSHA requirements. All full-time construction employees are bearers of OSHA-certified, Ten-Hour Training Cards, and MSHA 48 Training. All full-time Construction Superintendents are bearers of OSHA-certified, Thirty-Hour training cards and MSHA 48 Training. At Allen Refractories we are members of  ISNetWorld and Avetta.

Estimating  Services

    Estimating Department is available for job-site inspections required to generate accurate proposals for your construction project. Estimating also utilizes software programs specifically designed to calculate heat-flows, develop bills of material, and calculate volumes. With the assistance of the drafting/estimating department, we can furnish you with “working drawings” specific to your rebuild/repair. 

Engineering/Technical Services

Technical Services Department, led by Bob Marincic, Ceramic Engineer and Manager of Technical Services, commits itself to the ongoing education of “new” refractory materials, installation techniques, and specialized equipment. Engineering will assist you in your refractory material selection based on your specific process, needs, and trouble areas.

Our construction crews comprise trained supervisors and full-time refractory craftsmen who regularly work throughout the continental United States.
